cmaCMA CGM announces the reshuffling of its services on the INDIA / MIDDLE EAST - EAST AFRICA trades in partnership with EMIRATES SHIPPING LINE (ESL). 
As from 11th May, the new CMA CGM India / Middle East – East Africa service network will be covered as follows: 
-New SWAX2
A service jointly operated by CMA CGM and EMIRATES Line with 5 vessels of 2,200Teus
Rotation: JEBEL ALI > KHOR FAKKAN ( NAVA SHEVA) > MOMBASA > ZANZIBAR.

Cosco Shipping leads list of weak Chinese performers

coscoCombined first-quarter net profit of China's largest non-financial state-owned enterprises dropped 13.6% from a year ago to 181.4 billion yuan (US$28.78bil), a state-owned asset watchdog said yesterday, reflecting a slowing economy.
The weak reading was expected after firms like China Cosco Shipping reported a 98.48% fall in profits in the first quarter after a record full-year loss in 2011.
China's economic growth dropped to 8.1% in the first quarter of 2012, the weakest reading since the global financial crisis of 2008-09.

happag lloydWe would like to inform you that Hapag-Lloyd will increase the rates in the trade from India (Zone 1) to North Europe and the Mediterranean by: USD 100 per TEU effective May 15, 2012.
Applicable for all shipments from India (Zone 1) to all North Europe and Mediterranean (excluding South and West Africa) destinations.
India Zone 1 comprises the West Coast ports of India (Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Delhi) and all inland container depot (ICD) locations moving via the ports of Nhava Sheva and Mundra.
