APL and PIL to launch joint service between Far East and Red Sea

aplAPL Co. Pte Ltd (APL) and Pacific International Lines (Pte) Ltd (PIL) yesterday announced the launch of a new joint service linking the Far East and Red Sea. 
In a joint statement made by both carriers, APL and PIL said the Red Sea is an important market for exporters in Central and Southern China. By providing weekly sailings from major Asian ports, as well as competitive transit times from Asia to Red Sea ports via the trans-shipment hub in Singapore, both lines are confident that their customers would be well-served with these new connections.
MSC deploys fifth vessel to its Israel Express Service

mscMediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has deployed a fifth container vessel to its Israel Express Service (IES), thus improving service frequency and reliability.
The improved MSC’s IES port rotation is: Rotterdam – Antwerp – Le Havre – Alexandria – Haifa – Ashdod – Valencia – Rotterdam.
The service will deploy 5 MSC vessels with an average container capacity of TEU 4,000 each. 
MOL Announces Launch of New China - Middle East Service (“CMS”)

molMOL Liner Ltd. (MOL) yesterday announced its new China – Middle East Service (CMS) departing Shanghai on 8th June 2012. MOL will offer an additional weekly service by joining the existing service operated by Wan Hai Lines, Pacific International Lines, and Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha. The service will be operated by 6 vessels and MOL will provide one(1) Post Panamax ship (Mv. “MOL Solution”). 
In addition to the current services, MOL will be able to enrich service coverage as well as frequency between China and the Middle East.
